Call at any hour, or ask for a visit and Ruth calls back.

Is it an emergency? Water that will not stop, or no heat in freezing weather: call now. Smell gas: leave the house and call 911 first.

A banging boiler, a slow drain or a tune-up: ask for a visit.

Ask ahead

Visits start between 7 am and 4 pm on weekdays and between 8 am and noon on Saturday. Ruth reads the requests at the shop and calls back by 9 the next morning with a window and the price of the job.

If water is running where it should not, do not use this form. Use the Call button on this page.

Your name: add it so Ruth knows who to ask for.

Phone number: add the area code, like 617 555 0100.

Town: pick the one the house is in, so we know the drive.

Got it. Ruth would call by 9.

Nothing was sent: this is a demo site. On a real Harlow & Pike site, Ruth would call back by 9 the next morning with a window and the price.

What Ruth asks when she picks up

The town
Which town the house is in, so she can give you the minutes before you hang up.
The trouble
What is running or not running, in your own words. She does not need the technical name for it.
The water
Whether you have shut it off. If you have not, she tells you which valve and stays on the line while you find it.
